Day Seven: Friday: The drawing at the home of the McKean's

The last home we visited in Ridgefield was by far the most moving. We met Mr. McKean at his front door and he brought us into his absolutely gorgeous and immaculate one story home. The first thing we noticed was that there was an abundance of artworks adoring the walls and manifesting itself in a wide array of different types of sculptures nestled on tiny tables and shelves in every room. When you immediately enter the house you are at a square intersection that has behind you the main door, ahead of you the living room and to the left and right, the dining room and family room respectively. Directly above you is a cool architectural feature - an open bell tower type space (sans bell) with windows on four sides that allow natural light to spill down into the entrance way.
